Forsyth Community Grantmaking Fund's Annual Fundraiser

B6, I5, N7, G9, O2. BINGO! Friends and neighbors in Taney County are invited to attend the annual BINGO NIGHT hosted by the Forsyth Lions Club in support of the Forsyth Area Community Grantmaking Fund, an affiliate to the Community Foundation of Taney County. Get your BINGO markers ready for Saturday, September 15th from 4:30p.m. until 9:30p.m. in support of the non-profit organization.

In addition to BINGO, raffles including a 50” LED Toshiba Flat Screen, Elk antler sheds, and numerous show tickets and fuel certificates will be given away, along with other various door prizes during the evening. Monies collected toward the Forsyth Area Community Grantmaking Fund are reinvested back into the Eastern Taney County Community each year in the form of grants to non-profit organizations, churches, and schools.

“We appreciate The Forsyth Lions Club for their support in making this event such a great success,” said Doug Jordan, President of the Community Foundation of Taney County. “The event raised over $2,600 in 2011 and we hope to exceed that goal in September with the help of those in our community.”

The Forsyth Lions Club is located on Hwy. 160 and H highway in Forsyth, MO.

The Community Foundation of Taney County is a vehicle for charitable giving which provides the means through grants and donations to benefit communities and individuals in Taney County.  Philanthropic individuals, businesses, and organizations through contributions of funds will provide a permanent growing source of charitable assets that can be used to meet emerging and future needs of the community.
