Equi-Librium Therapy Center Receives Community Foundation Grant

The Community Foundation of Taney County (CFTC) understands the need for helping non-profit organizations and is reaching out to lend a helping hand in challenging times.

Recently, CFTC presented a grant in the amount of $1,000.00 to the Equi-Librium Therapy Center to help fund the salary of an additional Physical Therapist.

“It is such a blessing that we are able to present a check in this amount to a non-profit,” said Peter Connolly, Chairman for Branson Area Community Grantmaking Fund.  “We know the Equi-Librium Therapy Center will improve the lives of the disabled adults and children that it works with.

Equi-Librium serves children and adults with disabilities by providing accredited equine-assisted therapy services including Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, and Equine Facilited therapies. Equi-Librim Therapy Center is a Premier Accredited Center through the Professional Association of the Therapeutic Horseman International and a member of the American Hippotherapy Association. Equine assisted therapies use the natural movement of a horse to strengthen muscles and increase body awareness, muscle coordination, communication, and self-confident.

CFTC is committed to finding local solutions to local problems.  The goal is to build a permanent source of assets that will help provide income to meet the many needs identified in the community. CFTC simplifies the giving process by helping connect individuals, families, and businesses with local, non-profit agencies, schools, and churches through grants and planned giving funds.
