Community Foundation of Taney County Challenged to Raise $10,000

Community Foundation of Taney County, an affiliate member of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, is a not for profit foundation whose goal is to issue grants to assist charitable, non-profit groups with their work.

Charitable, non-profit groups plan an important role, extending help in many ways from giving seniors a hot meal to lining up children with good role models. Help may also come in the form of fighting a terrible disease, leading a spiritual experience or bringing beauty to your world through the arts.

A challenge grant of $10,000 has been authorized by the Ozarks Community Foundation. Regional community foundation are challenged to raise $20,000 in unrestricted endowment funds by April 1, 2005. Community Foundation of Taney County, which is an unrestricted endowment fund, will receive the $10,000 as soon as the goal is reached.
